MIPIM: Ghelamco hopes to lease 75% of Warsaw Spire by the year-end

12 March 2015

Ghelamco expects to lease 75 percent of the space at Warsaw Spire by the end of the year, the company’s founder, Paul Gheysens, said during this year’s Mipim event in France. Ghelamco currently has about 60,000 sqm of space under negotiation in the building. Gheysens confirmed his company is in talks with IT giant Samsung. The tenant list includes Frontex and BNP Paribas Services, which recently took 4,000 sqm in the project.

Going up in Warsaw’s Wola district, the 22-meter Warsaw Spire will offer about 100,000 sqm of leasable space in two buildings and an office tower. The project’s C Building is set to be delivered this year. Ghelamco presented the project at Mipim along with an adjacent space named plac Europejski (European Square). Warsaw Spire and European Square are set to become city landmarks, symbolizing the growing role of Warsaw at the European level, Gheysens said.
