Mitsubishi will begin producing parts for electric cars beginning next year, according to the weekly magazine Euro. It will launch production of integrated starters and generators for the car industry in a new 10,000 sqm plant that’s been built in the town of Slany, northwest of Prague. These can be used in cars with electric and hybrid engines. Mitsubishi already produces a variety of electronics components for the European automobile sector, including alternators and controls.
