Sebre is building a mixed-use complex on Národní street in Prague 1 instead of a hotel that the previous owner, Ditrich, planned to develop on a plot known as the most expensive site in Prague. Ditrich bought the former parking lot at the corner of Národní and Mikulandská streets in 2005 from the City of Prague for a record price of CZK 184m and later acquired the neighboring Schönkirchovský palace. The mixed-use complex, called Palác Národní, will offer restaurants and shops across 3,000 sqm, along with 8,500 sqm of ateliers and office as well as a rooftop garden with view of Prague Castle, writes the server lidovky.cz. Palác Národní was designed by Stanislav Fiala and will cost CZK 1bn. Office will lease between €24.50 and €30 per sqm, according to Radka Novak, partner at Cushman & Wakefield.
