MetLife Real Estate Investors affiliate ML New River Village III has bought the newly completed Vu New River Apartments in downtown Fort Lauderdale for $52.53m, or $251,339 per unit. Miami-based New River 3 Ventures completed the 18 story, 209 unit project in January after starting construction in 2013. Rents at the Vu new River, located at 510 S.E. 5th Ave, start at $1,760 per month. Amenities include a coffee bar, a rooftop pool, an outdoor movie theater and 243 parking spaces.
