Cresco is planning to redevelop Mlynská bašta, a brownfield site in Košice in eastern Slovakia. The developer recently acquired the project, Rezidencia Mlynská bašta, from PPF Real Estate. Cresco is now redesigning the project and will have to obtain a new construction permit. PPF had planned to preserve the Laboratorium and Mlynská bašta buildings at the historical site, which used to be part of the city’s fortification system in the 17th century. PPF’s plans included 149 flats as well as offices and commercial space.
