Mill Creek Residential has announced plans to break ground on a new mixed use development in downtown Orlando this fall. The project, Modera by Mill Creek, is located at the corner of E. Central Blvd. and Rosalind Ave. and will feature 350 apartments, 12,500 sqf of ground floor retail space and a 25,000 sqf, four-story University Club of Orlando clubhouse. The city of Orlando approved Mill Creek’s redevelopment plans in 2015, which at the time had designed a 26 story apartment highrise. In late July, the University Club sold its land to the developer for more than $6 million. The scheme is slated for completion in 2018.
