Moje Miejsce with another tenant, Boehringer Ingelheim take 1,300 sqm

24 February 2022

Boehringer Ingelheim, the Polish branch of an international pharmaceutical company, chose one of the two office buildings in Moje Miejsce as its new headquarters in Warsaw. They will start working at the new address in the fourth quarter of 2022.

Moje Miejsce is another multi-functional city-forming investment completed by Echo Investment in Warsaw’s Dolny Mokotów district. On the plot at the intersection of Beethovena, Witosa, Dziekońskiego and Aignera streets, the developer has created an urban quarter that connects two office buildings, five cozy residential buildings, service outlets and a green, open common space. The first office building with a full range of tenants was sold in October 2021. Echo Investment is commercializing the second stage. Soon, the Moje Miejsce community will expand to include Boehringer Ingelheim employees.

“Moje Miejsce is a well-designed urban space. It is a comfortable place for both work and life. Business appreciates such locations, which resulted in another successfully completed office space lease transaction. I am convinced that the employees of Boehringer Ingelheim will appreciate the new office in Moje Miejsce,” says Paweł Milcarz, senior leasing manager of Echo Investment, responsible for the finalization of this transaction.
Boehringer Ingelheim is working on breakthrough therapies that improve the quality of life for humans and animals. As a leading research-focused pharmaceutical company, Boehringer Ingelheim creates value by innovating in areas where there are important unmet medical needs.

Boehringer Ingelheim has been a family business since 1885 and pursues its long-term vision.
Approximately 52,000 employees serve more than 130 markets in the company’s three business areas of medicines for human use, animal health and biological medicines. The Polish representative office of the company has been operating since 1990. The company will occupy nearly 1,300 sqm in one of the Moje Miejsce’s office buildings.

Experts from the consulting company Brookfield Partners advised Boehringer Ingelheim in the process of selecting the location and fine-tuning the details of the lease.

“The office relocation process is a complicated operation. Our experts are with tenants at every stage. We supported Boehringer Ingelheim from the moment of creating the project assumptions, choosing the location and negotiating the terms of the lease. The entire process took 10 months. I am sure that the modern and multifunctional project Moje Miejsce will meet the high expectations of our client,” says Jakub Sarzyński, partner at Brookfield Partners.
