Moneta forgives clients in arrears and foreclosures in penalties and interest

Following the example of the so-called gracious summer, Moneta Money Bank is launching the possibility for its clients who are in execution or in arrears to repay their financial obligations by more than 90 days to repay their liabilities without penalties and interest. Other large banks are considering a similar move. Today, the Chamber of Deputies approved the so-called Mercy Summer II, which will allow people to get rid of sanctions and interest on debt imposed on public institutions and state or semi-state companies since the autumn.

“Wednesday, Moneta launched another chance for its clients, who are in foreclosure or in arrears with their financial obligations by more than 90 days. In addition, the so-called Mercy Summer II will also apply to those Moneta clients who were more than 90 days in arrears with their financial obligations to the bank as of May 31 of this year. principal for up to seven years,” the bank said.

He reminded that during the love summer, ČS also addressed 695 clients with a request for debt forgiveness. Of these, 425 clients paid a total of 31 million crowns in principal, and the savings bank subsequently waived the payment of so-called accessories and debts for 89 million crowns. According to ČTK, ČSOB and Raiffeisenbank are also considering a gracious summer. “At the moment, we are not considering joining the gracious summer. However, we are ready to help our clients in execution and together look for mutually acceptable solutions,” said Komerční banka spokesman Michal Teubner.

“We have thus decided to meet the needs of our clients who may find themselves in a current financial distress even in the context of a deteriorating economic situation, but are interested in meeting their financial obligations in the future,” said Monety Chairman Tomáš Spurný. “This means that Moneta is ready to forgive almost 115 million crowns at the moment,” he specified.

The pardon himself will grant Moneta the penalty fees and interest at the moment of repayment of the principal and business interest. Clients will have three months in executions, people in arrears to pay up to seven years, during which the bank will set new parameters for the repayment schedule. If they duly comply with this new repayment agreement, the bank will not charge them any additional interest or penalty fees during this period.

Moneta’s gracious summer offer applies to unsecured consumer loans for individuals and also to unsecured loans to self-employed persons or self-employed persons. On the other hand, the possibility of negotiating an installment agreement for a period of seven years and the subsequent remission of penalty fees does not apply to insolvent clients.
