Monmouth Real Estate Investment Corporation has picked up a newly industrial building in Lafayette, IN. The firm paid $25.536 million or just under $73 per sqf for the 350,000 sqf facility. Located at 5440 Haggerty Lane, the building sits on a 45.6 acre site. The property is leased for 10 years to Toyota Tsusho America. Operating in North America since 1961, the firm was founded as a trading and supply chain specialist of the Toyota Group.
Michael P. Landy, President and CEO Monmouth Real Estate said the warehouse serves the 3.3 million square foot Subaru auto assembly plant next door. “With nearly 46 total acres, our property provides ample land for future expansion capacity.”
