Swimming areas and beaches in Montenegro could open as early as May 18, according to the director of the public company Morsko dobro Predrag Jelusic. He said his team is working with the Institute of Public Health to prepare a set of measures to protect the health of guests and employees. Should the May 18th target not be met, he said June 1 was an entirely realistic goal.
Jelusic said that a set of benefits was prepared for tenants of beaches and restaurants to reduce rents. Swimmers will have to leave a safe distance between them, while the number of guests allowed on beaches will be limited.
