Moody’s raises Bulgarian outlook to positive

The agency Moody’s Investors Service raised its outlook for Bulgaria to positive while affirming its long-term issuer rating in foreign and local currency at Baa2. The positive change reflects a strong fiscal policies as well as its favorable prospects for economic growth. Moody’s wrote that it observed a balance between positive fiscal and macroeconomic development and the country’s intentions of joining the eurozone. On the other hand, it also noted faced by the country thanks to negative demographic trends and weaknesses on some policy areas. Moody’s expects Bulgaria to continue growing, having average 3 percent annually since 2015.
