More than 20,000 retired people employed through Hungarian co-ops

There are 150 registered cooperatives for pensioners in Hungary. according to Attila Dolgos, president of the National Interest Association of Pensioners’ Cooperatives. These co-ops were introduced two years ago to help fill labor shortages, allowing members to receive income from work as well as their pensions. The association currently has 18 members which employ more than 20,000 retired people.
