Morgan Stanley, which announced in 2019 the acquisition of the America House office building in Bucharest, has invested EUR 10 million in the renovation of the building completed 16 years ago.
The renovation focused on both the technical and aesthetic aspects of the building. The exterior area of the ground floor has been renovated, the terrace spaces have been expanded. The investment also targeted the modernization of parking lots. Two lobby and reception areas have also been renovated, with common areas and lobbies.
In parallel, the space on the first floor was remodeled and a new 1,800 sqm Class A office space was created by transforming an unused space.
On the technical side, 9 new Schindler PORT Technology passenger lifts were installed along with 2 new Schindler freight lifts and 8 Bon Adam turnstiles.
America House has a total leasable area of 28,806 sqm, which includes Class A office space and an area of 3,675 sqm of commercial space.
