Mountpark Logistics has begun construction work on a 26,000 sqm inventory distribution center at Mountpark Sered in Slovakia. The building has been designed to achieve BREEAM ‘very good’ accreditation and is on schedule to complete in the first quarter of 2021. It’s located along the R1 (E58) motorway near the D1 junction at Trnava, giving it good connections to the Bratislava market as well as the Czech Republic, Hungary and Austria. Mountpark Sered has already attracted Amazon, which operates a 60,000 sqm purpose-built reverse logistics center on the site. In addition, Mountpark has building permits in place for a further 125,000 sqm that could be completed within 12 months of starting on site. Mountpark Logistics is developing logistics facilities across Europe, focusing on the UK, Western and Central Europe.
