The Liberty Park portfolio, consisting of eight buildings and roughly 532,000 square feet of office space, has been bought by MRP Realty for $97 million. The properties, which encompass roughly 532,000 sqf, are positioned at 13605-13665 Dulles Technology Drive and 13461 Sunrise Valley Drive in Herndon, VA. The 32-acre business park is near the Silver Line’s planned Innovation Center Metro station which has the potential for up to 3 million sqf of mixed-use development. MRP plans to renovate and reposition the park, which is about 75 percent leased to more than two-dozen tenants including Microsoft, Amazon and CDW. Cushman & Wakefield’s represented the seller Liberty Property Trust in the sale to MRP Realty.
