State-owned Hungarian power company MVM laid the cornerstone of a 20.6 MW solar plant in Paks, southern Hungary. The production capacity will be equivalent to the energy consumption of 8,500 households. The cost of the project is HUF 9bn. The investment is set to be completed within half a year. Once finished, the facility will require a small staff as it will be fully automated.
