N. Macedonia’s economy grew by 13.1% y o y in Q2 2021

North Macedonia’s economic output grew by 13.1 percent year-on-year in the second quarter of 2021, after declining by 1.9 percent in the previous quarter, according to the national statistical office.

The country’s GDP totalled EUR 2.8 billion in the April-June period of this year and exports of goods and services rose by an annual 62.2 percent while imports increased by 64.4 percent.
Household final consumption grew by an estimated 14.9 percent year-on-year in the second quarter.
