The Hungarian national debt has rosen with HUF 57 billion in February- according to the Government Debt Management Agency (ÁKK). The increasement is not due to rate effect, because the Hungarian foreign currency debt has decreased with HUF 300 billion, from HUF 9587,3 billon to 9286,9. This is due to the fact that on one hand the first part of the IMF debt, HUF 217 billion, taken in 2008 was paid back and on the other, that forint has definitely strengthened so far.
