National Health Investors has acquired the Evergreen Woods, a 299-bed continuing care retirement community in North Branford, Connecticut. The property, located at 88 Notch Hill Rd, offers residents a full continuum of care with independent living, assisted living/supportive care and skilled nursing care. Cushman & Wakefield Senior Housing Capital Markets Group arranged the sale on behalf of the facility’s seller, Shoreline Life Care. The buyer has already leased the property to Charlotte, NC-based Senior Living Communities. Terms of the sale were not disclosed. ”Evergreen Woods provided NHI and Senior Living Communities with a great opportunity to further expand their existing relationship,” stated Cushman & Wakefield’s Managing Director Jay Wagner. “We fully expect that the Senior Living Communities team will continue to deliver the market leading service and care that has characterized Shoreline’s ownership period.”
