Polish media sources are reporting that the construction company Hydrobudowa Poland has gone bankrupt and that it has requested that District Court in Poznań begin the proceedings. A spokesman for the court says the request is the third Hydrobudowa has reportedly applied for, with the first two being rejected. “The proceedings are underway,” said Joanna Ciesielska-Borowiec, a representative of the court, revealing that the creditor is the Polish company Budownictwo Drogowe Krug. Hydrobudowa was in charge of the National Stadium construction and recently won a serious conflict with the state on the payment for its work on the project.
