A €3m overhaul of the National Theater’s parking garage in the Bucharest city center has been completed. InterParking began the modernization in January 2014 in partnership with City Hall. The underground parking garage, which includes 960 parking spaces, now has a high-tech management system that can digitally read car plate numbers for automatic pay and detect available parking spaces. The garage now also equipped with a smoke detector, video surveillance system and special parking spaces for electric vehicles, with a plug-in power supply.
