NCR expands in Serbia in 2018

The US company NCR is going on a recruitment drive in Serbia, having set itself the goal of having 3,100 employees by the end of this year. National Cash Register (NCR) is automated teller machine manufacturer, produces self service kiosks, point-of-sale terminals, check processing systems, barcode scanners and business consumables. Its Serbian unit provides customer support services that employs 2,652 people. NCR is reportedly planning to build a new campus in Belgrade that would allow it increase its workforce to 4,000. The Serbian government will support the work, which should be finished within 24 months. Over the next decade, NCR plans to invest in €400m in Serbia and to create as many as 1,500 new jobs by 2020.
