At 1. Hafenstraße 6 in Hamburg, the integrated logistics real estate consultant Logivest has brokered a lease for around 7,600 square metres of logistics space for Nefab Packaging Germany GmbH. AEW is the owner and landlord of the property.
Nefab already has a branch in Hamburg, which specialises in export and import logistics as a packaging centre for sea freight and air freight for plant goods, heavy goods and project cargo, as well as a container packing station with a bonded warehouse and rail connection.
Less than 10 kilometres away, Logivest has now been able to offer additional space for the company’s new customer business. The location in the middle of the Port of Hamburg, the good connection to the A7 and A1 motorways and the facilities of the property, which can be accessed and driven through by trucks via four ground-level gates, were convincing.
“The Port of Hamburg is Germany’s largest seaport and is of immense importance for logistics, particularly due to the multimodal handling of goods. The demand is correspondingly high and there is little available space,” says Marvin Hesse, Head of Industrial and Logistics Letting at Logivest in Hamburg.
Nefab Packaging moved into the space at the beginning of January 2024.
