NEPI is planning to invest €40m into the development of a new shopping center in Satu Mare. Construction is poised to break ground in the coming weeks with completion set for the end of 2018. Shopping City Satu Mare will offer 28,000 sqm of leasable space and 1,000 parking spots. The center will go up on a 6 ha site that was formerly occupied by a Sarmex furniture factory, which went bankrupt.
