With its recent purchase of the Lakeview scheme, NEPI is moving toward the top of Romania’s largest office building owners. It currently owns three projects – Lakeview (24,000 sqm), Floreasca 169A (36,000 sqm) and Timisoara City Business Centre (34,500 sqm).
Of the 95,000 sqm, 60,000 sqm are located in Bucharest’s Barbu Vacarescu-Floreasca area.
The largest owner of office projects remains Immofinanz with 200,000 sqm of offices, followed by Liviu Tudor with more than 130,000 sqm and CA Immo, which controls 100,000 sqm of office space.
NEPI also holds office surfaces in construction or in planning phase. NEPI wants to add another office building in Timisoara City Business Centre, while in Cluj, the investor wants to develop 52,000 sqm of office space. Finally NEPI is interested in building a 12,000 sqm scheme on Victoria Square in Bucharest.
After completion of all projects, NEPI’s portfolio will reach approximately 160,000 sqm.
