Brit Air, a subsidiary company of Air France, will touch down in Hungary in time for the summer travel season, enabling air travel between Budapest and Lyon. The first flight between the two cities is expected on June 19, with planes scheduled to fly twice a week from Saint-Exupery, Lyon’s biggest airport. Botond Melles, Hungarian CEO of Air France-KLM said that Air France has been planning to open this air line for some time, because Lyon is one of the most sought after destinations by Hungarian businessmen. It’s also expected to attract considerable interest from tourists, as Lyon is France’s second largest city.
