Donau Chem Ltd, a leading chemical distributor in Central and Eastern Europe, is building a new factory in Kazincbarcika on the Wanhua-BorsodChem site in northern Hungary. The €6.4m factory will be the first Hungarian production unit of Donau Chem, a subsidiary of Donau Chemie AG. Scheduled to start operating in April, the Kazincbarcika factory will export materials to the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Austria, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia and Ukraine.
