A new development center was inaugurated in the factory of Claas Hungaria in Törökszentmiklós. The HUF 1bn project was supported by both the Hungarian state and the European Union. The investment has given the factory in Törökszentmiklós a Europe-wide importance as it provides opportunities for technological development and hiring a range of engineers. Agriculture Minister Sándor Fazekas said that Claas has employed a model which should be an example for the whole Hungarian economy. Claas Hungaria was established in 1997, and is the Hungarian subsidiary of Claas group, a manufacturer of agricultural products.
