The new factory of Continental is opening its doors in Veszprém, Hungary. The factory was built as part of a HUF 4 bn investment. The project’s goal is to increase both its capacity and expand the company’s profile. The investment consists of a 3,000 sqm complex, with a 1500 sqm hall, several offices and a depot. The building was supported by the EU with HUF 889m in financial support. The project consists of technological and technical developments as well. The development will enable the factory to turn out approximately 40 million components next year. The investment will also create 200-220 new jobs.
