In an effort to solve some of the city’s growing environmental problems, a new recycling center is underway next to the Jeremino polje landfill in Pozarevac, eastern Serbia. Completion is planned for September, with operations set to begin in 2020. The investment is valued at €1.6m. The recycling center, which will include four sections, will be able to process 115 tons per day and have a staff of 25 people.
