A new section of the Mostar South-Pocitelj highway is in the works. JP Autoceste, one of the project’s investors, signed a €25.6m construction contract with contractor Hering from Siroki Brijeg. EBRD is expected to pick up a big chunk of the costs. The new highway section will cover 7.2km. Construction should take 18 months. The Spanish company Aecom will supervise the construction. Another tender for the construction of the highway’s Pocitelj-Zvirovici section will open soon.
