Farmalakt and its Serbian partner are poised to open a new baby food factory in the coming months in Dobanovci, near Belgrade. The investment is valued at €34m. The Russian company’s strategic partner in the West Balkans is Nelt Co, which will be the Dobanovci plant’s main distributor. The plant will produce dry cereal, liquid milk porridge and puree. Farmalakt, which is owned by Goran Vukovic, recently opened a new production plant in Russia, following a €23m investment.
