Green Tech Group is partnering with the Chinese investor Karl Soong to build a factory for electric cars and scooters. The factory will be located in Kula Norinska, southeastern Croatia. Soong is the founder and president of Poly International Group in China. Green Tech Group, is owned by the Croatian entrepreneur Mladen Nincevic. Soong and Nincevic signed a €2.2m deal with the local municipality to buy the 53 ha site where the factory will go up. Construction will be divided to three stages, with completion to take 10 years. Total costs are estimated at €13.5m. Poly International Group is the leading producer and exporter of household products, electronics, electric vehicles.
