Construction of Montenegro’s first 5-star hotel is scheduled to start in October in the town of Budva. The hotel will be built 200 meters from the town’s historic center on Slovenska plaza. The developer is S&I Invest from the Montenegrin capital city, Podgorica. The investment is worth €35m, according to S&I Invest, which claims completion is expected in 36 months. For the construction works will be in charge Bemax company from Podgorica. The 20,652 sqm hotel will employ 200 people and will be divided into three blocks, each of which will have underground parking and storage space. The ground floor will offer a large reception area, a congress center and restaurants. The hotel will offer high standard rooms with 35-40 sqm.
