Slozna braca, a Serb-based company, is building a new 5-star hotel on Mount Zlatar. The €2.5m facility will be named Zlatarski biseri 2 and its total size will be 2,400 sqm for 126 beds. Construction started and completion will be in 12 months, resulting (in addition to the rooms) in two restaurants, a fitness center and conference halls, a spa center and sports facilities. The company has leased the Zlatar ski center for 15 years and invested €350,000 into new equipment and reconstruction. Previously, Slozna braca built the 3-star hotel Zlatarski biser, an investment of €1.3m. The company’s core business is road and building construction, but it is expanding its range of business activities.
