New hotel to go up on Croatia’s Prvic island

25 April 2018

More than €12m worth of new investments are expected to hit the island of Prvic, about a kilometer from the Croatian mainland in the Sibenik Archipelago. Arash Repac, a manager at Lukoil’s Turkish office, is planning to build a 40-room hotel and a marina in the village of Prvic Sepurine in an effort to revive the island’s economy, as only 18 people under the age of 50 currently live there, according to local news reports. Repac is also planning to open summer schools focused on foreign languages that will be available to Prvic’s children for free.
