A new HUF 5.6 bn investment was made in Helvécia, near Kecskemét. Trial production by the Hungarian firm of the leading automotive supplier company, Magna Automotive began yesterday. The company’s main task will be to provide automotive components to the Mercedes company in Kecskemét. Magna has won a HUF 1 bn non-refundable support grant from the New Széchenyi Plan, given by the Hungarian government and HUF 1 bn in support from the EU as well. The company will provide 100 workplaces by the end of 2012.
