The Butters Group and Morlin Hospitality Group have proposed a new $25 million Hyatt House hotel in Boca Raton. The 125 room property will be located at 955 Technology Way and will feature a 2,000 square foot meeting space, a pool, jacuzzis in some rooms, and a social area for children. While still in the approval stages with the city and county, the groups hope to confirm the Hyatt House flag within the next 30 days. Its name and flag are not yet finalized with Hyatt Hotels Corp.
“We’re going to hopefully get site plan approval in the first quarter of next year and break ground in summer of 2016,” said Malcolm Butters, president of the Butters Group, based in Coconut Creek.
