Serbia’s most popular mountain and ski center Kopaonik is investing in new infrastructure to improve comfort level for customers. It began work on a new garage over the summer as well as a parking complex that includes a helipad. The new parking capacity should resolve at least in part a long-standing complaint of skiers and provide greater comfort for summertime tourists. JP Ski Resorts manages operations at the mountain The project received sponsorship for the €4.8m project from the country’s Ministry of Tourism, Trade and Telecommunications. Completion of work is expected by the beginning of the coming winter season. The Belgrade contractor M enterijer gradnja is in charge of construction, together with Masinoprojekt Kopring and Neo Aerodromes engineering. The 4-storey garage will offer 309 parking spots, while the helipad on top will be built to ICAO norms.
