New investors to back Eurovegas project

7 January 2013

The planned €300m Eurovegas hotel and casino in Bezenye, a village 6 km from the Slovak border, just picked up two new investors, and construction on the long-delayed project could soon begin. The new investors are Kimberley Group and another Spanish investment group, whose name was not disclosed.
In October, a spokesperson for Eurovegas said project investors Hans Asamer and Alfred Supersberger, in partnership with Hard Rock International, were “ready for construction” and actively looking for ways to finance the project. The Eurovegas hotel and casino is scheduled to opened early in 2014. This project is expected to add more than 1,200 jobs to the regional market.
