The budget hotel chain Motel One has opened its eighth hotel in Munich. The property, located in Parkstadt Schwabing, offers 434 rooms and features a roof terrace bar on the the 12th floor. The hotel’s design theme is „Laptop and Lederhosen“ featuring a robot called Sepp dressed up in a typical Bavarian outfit. This digital concierge, which can answer a variety of easy questions (like: where’s the bar?) is the result of cooperation between Motel One with the consulting team of Watson IoT Center.
