SoNo Development Partners, a joint venture between F.D. Rich Company, East Asset Management and Shaner Hotels, opened a new Residence Inn by Marriott in Norwalk, Connecticut. The property offers 102 rooms on eight floors. Amenities include a grocery delivery service, a convenience store, a fitness center and an on-site business center. This is the third Marriott-branded hotel developed regionally by the Rich Company, including the Stamford Marriott Hotel & Spa and the Courtyard by Marriott Stamford Downtown. The hotel will be operated by Shaner Hotels.
“The development of this project represents our continued redevelopment of the South Norwalk neighborhood where we own 300,000 sq ft of retail, office, restaurant space and multifamily rental apartments both built and under development,” said Thomas Rich, president and CEO of the F.
