New tram line to boost development in Petržalka

12 November 2014

Construction of a tram line through Bratislava’s Petržalka district will improve public transit access to the area and help revive projects that have been on hold for a few years. Fuxton, a company connected with J&T Real Estate, is carrying out an EIA study for its residential project Bytový dom-Fuxova. The 24-story high-rise will add 276 flats to the market and parking for 499 cars. The building is set to go up on a plot along the tram line, among Jantárova cesta, Bosákova and Černyševského streets. The flats will range between 29 sqm and 86 sqm. The developer hopes to start shovel work in July, with completion scheduled in 2017. The investment is expected to cost €25m.
