Prague is planning to build its ninth winter sports stadium with a special hall for curling in Prague 11-Opatov. AR Delta offered to build the stadium for CZK 120m. Prague 11 will provide the site for 40 years, which was once used as school sportsground. Prague is insisting that the developer repair local roads and use soft asphalt to reduce traffic noise. AR Delta will also be required to plant new trees in the location. The new stadium, currently in the EIA process, should serve schools and residents by 2019.
