According to Polish media, the newly elected German President Joachim Gauck has chosen Poland for his first official visit, an event that’s expected to take plan on March 26 – 27. The former pastor was been elected by the German Federal Assembly with 991 of a total of 1232 votes on Sunday. Gauck is to replace Christian Wulff, who resigned after his involvement in a scandal was revealed in February.
