Gramercy Property Trust has announced the promotion of Nicholas L. Pell to the role of Chief Investment Officer. Pell, who previously served as Managing Director with the firm, has nine years of experience of investing in real estate assets, having joined Gramercy as part of the new management team recruited in 2012. Prior to working for Gramercy, Pell worked on investments at W. P. Carey, was a Director of Business Development at Sony Pictures Entertainment and an analyst at J.P. Morgan & Co. Pell holds a B.A. in Economics from Duke University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. “This is a well-deserved promotion recognizing Nick’s key role and his significant contribution to the success of Gramercy,” said CEO Gordon DuGan.
