No subsidies for housing mortgage credit

30 March 2012

State aid for those who want to purchase a home with mortgage loans can’t be granted because the state budget revenues are insufficient. If until now the state budget provided 30 percent of construction costs, the owners now are not supported at all.
The economic crisis led to lower prices of construction materials and consequently the newly built houses. In this case, the ratio between construction cost and income beneficiaries do not require the direct intervention of the state, say representatives of the Ministry of Rural Development and Tourism (MDRT).
Number of completed houses with 30 percent subsidy granted by the Government, was 576 in five years from program start.
