Nokia Networks leased a 25,000 sqm office building at Corvin Promenade, a mixed-use complex underway by Futureal Group in Budapest. The new headquarters of Nokia’s Hungarian division will house the company’s global technological center and will be one of the largest IT and telecommunication R&D centers in the country.
“This is one of the largest office lease deals on the Hungarian market since the crisis,” said Gábor Futó, the founder and co-owner of the Futureal Group.
When completed, Corvin Promenade will offer 100.000 sqm office, 50.000 GLA retail, 2,500 residential units. Futureal started working on the project in 2004. The scheme should be completed between 2018 and 2020.
