Nordecon has signed a contract with the Estonian property company Riigi Kinnisvara Aktsiaselts for the construction of Kohtla-Järve high school. Kati Kusmin, Chairman of the Board of Riigi Kinnisvara said “We want to create a schoolhouse that has value for the environment as well as the local community.” With this in mind, the 2,800 building is planned to be almost carbon neutral. It’s to be built on the site of the former Kohtla-Järve elementary school at Pärna Street 47. Construction on the site is expected to be finished by the summer of 2019 in time for the school year in September. The cost of the project is €4.347. mil (excluding VAT).
