Novavax, a clinical-stage vaccine company, has leased 145,051 sqf at 1201 Clopper Road in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The building was originally part of a four-building office and lab portfolio developed in 2000. The property provides 377 parking spaces and is approximately 200 yards from the Metropolitan Grove MARC commuter rail station. Bernie McCarthy of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the landlord, Equus Capital Partners, and Pete Briskman and Joe Judge of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the tenant in the lease negotiations.
